i just returned from camp and i must say that my liking of harry potter has dimished some because of a horrible bus ride experience. let’s see, it was thursday night and we were on our way back from the boardwalk to salisbury u. and there weren’t enough seats left in the front. so me and this other girl had to go sit in the back seat right next to lavatory and behind the loud obnoxious slut group. not only did they play a disgusting game of truth or dare where i believe one girl flashed her butt, they played “the nervous game” where a guy basically touches the girl in awkward places. and they (the girls) kept asking the guys to try again. how wrong is that? anyway, the point of this all is that one of the guys kept yelling “expelliarmus!” and pointing his finger at people. including me. and i think he threw in a “wingardium leviosa” at some point. so now whenever i think of harry potter and spells i think of those disgusting people. blech.

i absolutely agree with alex that everything edward says sounds silly out loud. and that’s probably because he spent 90 years trying to come up with good pick up lines. i just finished reading eclipse and i still think that jacob is better than edward. but all i have to say right now is that bella is incredibly stupid, so she’s actually not worthy of jacob OR edward. since alex quoted a quote, here’s my quote: (edward speaking to bella) “The way you regard me is ludicrous” (Eclipse p413). he’s right because all she is is obsessed  with his physical being and beauty. i still can’t get over the part where she keeps trying to have sex with him. i mean, come on, seriously? thats totally unnecessary and possibly inappropriate for this kind of book…

Don’t Pass Me By

Has Alison returned to the States yet? Not quite sure, but her cellphone has been turned back on. Kyla and I have called her at least five hundred times. And I’m not exaggerating. Much. In the midst of waiting for Alison to show her face, I decided that we couldn’t wait any longer to record. I went out with my Pa and purchased a microphone for my laptop. I have recorded many things, including conversations between Kyla and myself. I’m like a secret agent.

Kyla and I were also extremely pleased to hear that Pattie has started reading Twilight. Everyone should. Also, play this game. Open any one of your Twilight books to any page. Read a sentence in your head. Then read the same sentence out loud, preferably to a crowd of people. Pure hilarity! Edward’s little speeches don’t sound so profound once they’re not in your head!

(Twilight, pg. 201)

“And as for her other question…Well, I’ll be listening to hear the answer to that one myself.” One side of his mouth pulled up into my favorite uneven smile. I couldn’t catch my breath soon enough to respond to that remark. He turned and walked away.”
